A soft launch for hard news. Or something like that.
This blog was the forerunner of a print magazine available exclusively on Roatán. We launched Roatan New Times in May, with an issue called The Best Of Roatan 2011. It’s available all over the island.
The first magazine of its kind on Roatan, it focuses on long-form investigative stories, art and entertainment, food and restaurants (we’ll have wahoo up the wazoo), interviews with Caribbean superstars, snarky satire, and a lot more.
Our website, http://www.roatannewtimes.com, debuts in July. Our second issue follows shortly thereafter.
